Step 1: Create Objective and Goals
To create your Social Media strategy you should first know your goals, some people start their social media communication with no objectives so they are running for nothing.
Social Media can achieve any business goals but you have to identify your objectives in order to know the way to achieve it.
Here are some of the goals you can achieve through your social media channels:

- Increase your Sales (Conversion rate)
Don’t forget to keep your objective S.M.A.R.T : specific, Measurable, attainable, relevant and time-bound.

Step 2: Situation analysis
It is great to know your objective but the second step you need to do is to make situation analysis of your brand online and on Social Media.
Somehow it is more like research about your Digital presence & position; this research should answer your questions about your target market, location, your presence, target audience, their interests & demographics
Step 3: Analyze Competitors
In my opinion this step more important; you should know your competitors and analyze their Social Media presence to know more about them; but don’t be distracted by the number of likes on their pages, look at the engagement on posts and their tone of voice.
If most of their posts have 10 likes and one suddenly has 3,000 then you can be sure they boosted it.
Step 4: Identify Your Challenges
As mentioned above that you know your objectives; so identify your challenges to achieve these objectives. For example: if you objective is sales (conversion rate) so your challenges will be finalize the journey, enhance the user experience, facilitate the checkout process …etc.
Step 5: Create Action Plan:
The final point which will be the easiest one is to set action plans for your strategy. Now you know your objectives, competitors, challenges & your situation in the market; you just need to set to do list about the posting way, tone of voice, call for actions, tacking & reporting ways, and timeline.
By this way your Social Media strategy will be very easy & achievable. Other than that you will feel like nothing is achievable however you may doing a great job but reaching nothing
Step 6: Measurement & Control:
Your measurement is your thermometer about your achievement and target. Measure your performance and compare it with your targets to know if you are on the right track or need to review your strategy one more time.
